Jesus Christ In Power Ministries, a growing community ministry, here at this location of 1980 Church Lane, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since July of 2011. As a Church and Ministry we are excited to be a part of and to serve the West Oak Lane community and all of Philadelphia and its’ surrounding counties. Jesus Christ In Power Ministries had its humble start in our West Mt. Airy home with our first Sunday service held on October 28th, 2007. The calling to form the ministry was given to both Bishop Lawrence Williams and Apostle Pamela Williams to serve God’s people through their church vision.
Bishop Lawrence & Apostle Pamela Williams come with a long history of serving in the ministry. And they have been working together in ministry since 2007 when the Lord gave them the vision to start Jesus Christ In Power ministries believing God through Luke 4:18. The ministry of Jesus Christ In Power Ministries had a humble start in their Mt. Airy home with the first Sunday service held on October 28th, 2007. The calling to form the ministry was given to both of them to serve God’s people by feeding and clothing His Sheep (1 Peter 4:10-11). While in their home until July of 2011, the ministry fed the people that came to service every Sunday, never allowing anyone that hungered for the Word of God to leave without their stomachs also being filled. Their vision is to continue to serve God to his utmost. And their mission is to utilize the Word of God to impact the neighborhood and community-at-large so that the people can be delivered and live a new life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2).
As a married couple they have been working together in ministry winning souls for Christ for over 20 years. Ministering to family and anyone that they came in contact with about the goodness of Jesus Christ. They willingly share their testimonies about their own struggles and their God-given victorious triumphs. Letting people know as Psalms 124 says, “If it had not been for the Lord on our side…” They also realized that in working in ministry that “to whom much is given, much will be required” (Luke12:48). They love doing outreach especially working with the seniors and the youth. They faithfully work in Jesus Christ In Power Food Ministry during its weekly distribution. They are always willing to listen and offer prayer to anyone. It is their persistent mission to meet the needs of God's people both naturally and spiritually utilizing the scripture (Matthew 25:35).
